Liquid Mountain to outfit Team 40 in the largest expedition adventure race ever staged
San Jose, Calif., June 8, 2006 – Liquid Mountain is excited to be a sponsor in the 2006 Eco Primal Quest extreme adventure race in Utah beginning on June 25 th . As an environmentally conscious company, Liquid Mountain will outfit the 40 th team (“Team 40”), Marci Hansen, Paul Chetirkin, Travis Vaughan and James Martin, in this ultimate test of human endurance.
Primal Quest is the last of the great expedition-length adventure races. The 2006 race will feature the best teams in the sport battling for the $250,000 prize purse, the largest purse yet to be awarded in the world of endurance racing. Along-side the experienced trekkers will be amateur teams fighting to complete the race and claim this enormous feat. This race entails roughly 90 teams of four people attempting to navigate more than 400 miles of barren and mountainous land.
Liquid Mountain will be supporting Team 40 throughout its Primal Quest 2006 trek by outfitting the team in key, technical pieces. As Team 40 believes- physical conditioning, a positive mental attitude and sound gear are critical components to a team's success in adventure racing.
