LIQUID MOUNTAIN DIGS ROOTS DEEPER INTO WINTER SPORTS

Liquid Mountain Announces Support of 2007 Queens Cup and Partnership with

Pro Snowboarder David Goto

San Jose, CA, March 5, 2007 – Coming off a successful winter launch at SIA 2007, Liquid Mountain builds its roots deeper into the winter sports market by supporting the 2007 Queens Cup, the world's largest all-female freeskiing competition event held in Park City, Utah, and teaming up with Pro Snowboarder David Goto.

The founders of Liquid Mountain, David and Kerri Jaye, are snowboarders and are excited to support winter sports through unique opportunities and partnerships. “Liquid Mountain was born from the passion of our sports and the need for action wear that fuses fashion with function. We are committed to support the athletes and excited to grow the sport in new venues,” says David Jaye.

Over 70 ams and 13 pros took over Park City Mountain to compete in the all-female Queens Cup Open. The opportunity to ski with Jen Hudak, Meg Olenick, Sarah Burke, and Grete Eliassen really made for a great event. “We are proud to be a part of this female focused endeavor. It is a great extension of our own company roots with a strong commitment to help grow women in the sport and bring pros and amateurs together in a fun environment.” says Kerri Jaye. The girls of the 2007 Queens Cup competition got a taste of Liquid Mountain's hautehead®, the first ponytail beanie and fashion accessory for people who love their hair.

Liquid Mountain crafts action wear that fits and performs like no other. Pro wakeboarder and snowboarder Raquel Hoffman sums up the Liquid Mountain brand premise in a nut shell, “When outfits are comfortable and thinning it makes me have more confidence and feel 50 times more comfortable inside and out.”

Liquid Mountain has also teamed up with David Goto. Goto showcases his snowboarding talent as the 2nd place Nestle Big Air Challenge, Valle Navado, Chile 2002 winner, Best Trick award at Red Bull Snow Warz 2006 and most recent Holy Oly 2007 Invitational. He has been competing on the snowboard circuit for eight years. Known for his energy and enthusiasm, Goto is excited to collaborate with Liquid Mountain because of its vision and commitment to sports. “Living in the Northwest I encounter all sorts of weather, rain, wind, and snow... My favorite thing about Liquid Mountain is how versatile their action wear is.  I could be warming up after a set of wakeboarding or getting ready to drop into the backcountry on the top of Mt. Baker and Liquid Mountain keeps me warmer than any thing I have ever worn.  The stuff is quality and versatile.” Says Goto.

About Liquid Mountain

It was spring break, circa 1987, when founder Kerri Jaye had her first encounter with the snowboard. The first women snowboarders were hitting the slopes and she was among this small, yet determined group of dedicated powder hounds. She felt like the only woman out there yet she knew there were other women just like her. Dragging herself to the mountain's peak she instructed herself how to conquer the awkward yet intriguing board of wood, as people cheered her on from the lifts above. That monumental day she would have an epiphany; an epiphany that would be the inspiration for the Liquid Mountain vision. The Liquid Mountain vision, shared by co-founder David Jaye, would then further evolve into a men's action wear line reflecting the same inspirational principles. Driven by the quest for better fitting, better functioning active apparel, Liquid Mountain pushes his and her action wear to new levels with a fashion twist. The product is made in the United States and sold through a network of independent retailers throughout country. www.liquidmountain.com
